New Year’s Resolutions
We don’t normally make New Year’s resolutions as they can sometimes have a more negative effect than intended and add some unneeded stress. However, we thought we’d give it a go this year with some quite lightweight resolutions.
Continue to embrace new technology to improve efficiency for clients - With new technology helping to make us more efficient and speed up some of the labour intensive tasks, this will free up more time for us to provide valuable insights for our clients and help their business grow.
Improve sustainability - There’s lots we can do to make our business more sustainable. Most of our clients are fairly local, so we can walk to meetings where possible, continue our push to be paper free, and help our clients by freeing up more of their time so they can improve their sustainability if they wish.
Increase our skillset - The more skills we have, the more benefit we can be to our clients. We’ll continue to grow our accountancy qualifications, improve our financial knowledge and learn new skills, whether it be tech or personal development and use these skills to benefit our clients.
Achieve a better work life balance - This one is kind of for us, we have three kids and a dog that need our time too, so we’d like to achieve a good balance between our personal life and work. That said, the more refreshed and relaxed we are, the more productive and efficient we’ll be and our clients will benefit from that too!
Happy New Year everyone.
